NES Young Learners has been licensed as a provider of Pearson Edexcel iPrimary qualifications and assessments for young learners in the Maldives. NES-YL aims to provide opportunities for public school primary students to improve their English Language, Mathematics, Science, and Computing by offering Edexcel International programmes to benchmark the standard before they start lower secondary education.

iPrimary delivers a consistent learning journey, with world class support services from planning, to teaching and learning, through to assessment. iPrimary comes with a wealth of support with sample schemes of work, exemplified units of work, internally assessed progress tests, externally assessed achievement tests and a comprehensive professional development programme.

This qualification has been developed to ensure that it will engage students, develop literacy skills, and support progression to further study. iPrimary’s content and assessment approach to primary English has been developed alongside primary mathematics, science, and computing to ensure a consistent approach across the whole Pearson Edexcel iPrimary programme.

NES-YL will be led by our highly qualified teachers, who all have immense experience and are regarded as Maldives’ leading educators. We at NES believe in the approach that teaching can be made interesting and engaging for students but can also be designed to prepare students for further study at lower secondary level. Teachers will prepare students for achievement tests, which are accessible for students of all ability ranges.
