Nazeer Education Services (NES) is an education company registered (C0962020) under the Business Regulation Law (No 18/2014) in the Maldives with the aim of providing quality K-12 and post-secondary education, educational assessment, research, and consultancy.
NES has a team of highly educated and experienced professionals who bring creativity, experience, expertise, and scholarship, combining the academic excellence of traditional education to develop knowledge and skills among students to solve tough problems, collaborate effectively, and to express ideas in new ways.
NES envisions to become a globally recognised education specialist in the areas of teaching, research, education management, assessment, and consultancy.
Our mission is to use its existing experience, know-how and expertise in teaching, research, education management, assessment, and consultancy to develop and manage world class educational establishments to prepare and motivate students to engage in a rapidly changing world.

NES offers multiple educational programs for different age groups. NES Institute offers higher education courses from Certificate levels to Associate Degrees, while the NES Young Learners programmes are focused on children from ages 6 to 12 years, to support and improve their English Language, Mathematics, and Science competency by offering well-known international programmes to benchmark the standard.
We strongly believe that the curriculum and pedagogy need to evolve to meet tomorrow’s reality, as the world that we live in is changing at a faster pace than what we had anticipated. Beyond tools and technology, our young minds require to develop new knowledge and skills to deal with emerging challenges, to solve problems collaboratively and to think innovatively for a better future.
Our community is small, but we provide a variety of programs that contribute to the cohesive intellectual, social, and personal development of the students while helping them to interact and learn from each other. NES strives to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment that is conducive to students’ academic pursuits and personal growth while fostering a sense of community.
Our educational ideology is based on our beliefs, customs, culture, and values that give direction in areas of curriculum and pedagogical approaches. We strongly believe that student-centred teaching and learning based on constructivism would help our students to engage and develop context-based knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for employment in this globalised world. Our curriculum is relevant, flexible, and carefully executed to connect the present to building blocks of tomorrow.
One of the core functions of the learning institutes is conducting and promoting research to create knowledge. NES is committed to create a research culture and plans are already formulated to invest in research to inform research based learning. Our staff will empower students to understand their own learning profile so they can develop the persistence and resilience they need to succeed.

We offer multiple educational programs for different age groups. NES Institute, formally known as Ahta Institute, has been offering the Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA) accredited courses from Certificates to Associate Degrees in the Maldives since 1 November 2017.
NES Young Learners is focused on children from ages 6 to 12 years, to support and improve their English Language, Mathematics, and Science competencies. The international primary check point system that we offer for students at NES to test their knowledge and skills by the end of Key Stage 2 is arguably the very first certified testing centre in the Maldives.
We are committed to providing a highly conducive academic environment for our students to develop their character so that they not only evolve as young experts but also as responsible citizens and better human beings. We have highly trained teachers and professional lecturers who possess extensive experience in the areas of teaching and research.
